Pros

This is a great company to work for and they have a unique culture that probably suits most. They keep everyone busy, and if you are between projects, they utilize your time to streamline internal technology workflows. HR is amazingly dedicated and thoughtful considering how small it is.

Cons

Sometimes the hours were crazy, but that had more to do with the project I was working on. The main office is in Alaska, so sometimes the other branches might feel a little small (could be good or bad).

Pros

Generally great coworkers. Lots of smart people doing good work. Great casual/professional atmosphere. Lots of freedom, flexibility, latitude, and opportunities. Generally interesting projects.

Cons

RDI's most talented employees are busy billing work to clients. The result is that RDI suffers internally from some of the very problems it specializes in solving. Working on internal systems or with the corporate group can be frustrating.

Pros

Although they are experiencing some turnover right now, they are trying to improve things. If your contract comes to an end, you don't have to worry about losing your job. That is huge. They treat their people as adults and they do not micromanage. If you work, you will do well. If plan to coast and goof-off, don't bother applying - you won't last. "Work/life balance" is not just a saying - they really mean it. (But there are time you have to works nights and weekends. Just suck it up - you are a professional.)

Cons

Opportunities can be a little limited. Benefits could also be better, but many companies are in the same situation.
