Great work life balance. Ability to set your own path. Great networking opportunities.

Cons

Like every place you will work in the private sector you have to negotiate. Managers were not concerned with my bill rating which I believed was disingenuous. Sometimes project managers were difficult to get ahold of.

Pros

RDI has a very flat corporate style, where you don't need to struggle to get things done. If you have problems, the branch managers are always willing to help. Excellent work environmental, and amazing people to work for. People know their stuff, and get things done. Our clients are a selective group of people, who are good to work for and make the work enjoyable. Culture and work/life balance is second to none. If you are busy one day, no problem work from home.

Cons

Pay is average. You won't make millions here, but you will like your job.

Pros

Variety of projects, flexible hours and work from home options. Good tech equipment, well maintained. Little oversight (half pro half con). Management staff is intelligent and capable, but not very tuned in.

Cons

Low pay for the area, significant detachment of management, difficult to coordinate when all project peers are remote. Varying degrees of formality in software design process, not even partly standardized and constantly changing. Reclusive culture. Growing way too fast, blatantly unsustainable.
