Pros
They'll get you a role, one way or another. It's a contracting role... with so many corners cut, you wonder why you even bothered. Although, HR does get some credit - they're extremely unhelpful.
Cons
The NY location in Queens College was an organizational mess with poor ventilation during the summer time, constant wifi outages and constant sickness. Unsurprisingly half the 'batch' dropped out. I say batch because the company likes to dehumanize us into products for the marketing team to sell off. They care little about the quality of your role, as I had to do support and ticket work despite being trained in Full-Stack java. After you're trained, there's very little outreach and you're usually on your own. I'm actually thankful for this pandemic, because as soon as it hit - they dropped my contract. No doubt to train someone cheaper in my place, as it occurred during my 'promotion'. I don't recall anyone reaching out to make an attempt to find me work, just some HR rep telling me you're furloughed before eventually terminating the contract. I've aired my grievances, but at this point, legal action and continual back-and-forths on the phone is the only thing to make them listen. Unfortunately scared college kids are easy targets for something that resembles, but cannot be legally defined, a scam.
