Pros

The company's mission is good, believable, realistic. Hire the hidden unemployed talents in US as long as they are willing to relocate. Because let's face it, the jobs are there, but not limited to the major cities in America. You will get a lot of exposure in your work experience.

Cons

Half of training department are associates who got promoted to be a trainer. HR seems to be a solid one, as long as you know who to go to. HR email address is answered by employees who are not based in US. Sales people constantly pushing you to go to the client's site within 3 days notice. Executive Management seems to enjoy hiring from outside rather than promoting internal employees and have hiring preferences.

Pros

- Went through the 3 months of bootcamp in big data stack. Was intense early on but got easier as we moved towards group projects over solo work. - Got placed with Walmart a few weeks after training. You will have to pass interviews with these companies before they place you. - Experience with Walmart was overall good. Gained a lot of experience working on enterprise systems and working in a team.

Cons

Unfortunately got laid off by Walmart and soon after by Revature due to the economic recession. DO NOT RELOCATE UNLESS THEY OFFER TO BUY OUT YOUR CONTRACT, THEY CAN LAY YOU OFF AT ANY MOMENT. - You will be very underpaid while working for clients under Revature until your contract is bought out. - Staging (waiting period with daily activities while they find you interviews) is a waste of time and will not help you in terms of studying, it is up to you to study and interview prep. - Tech stack that you learn might not be the most relevant. My stack used Scala when Python is more prevalent in big data.

Pros

Fast-paced learning environment where you gain quite a bit of knowledge!

Cons

Telling people who worked very very hard (12-14 hour days, MINIMUM) that interviews are given at "random" is a major insult. If this is your process then you guys should definitely do some rethinking. I was in a batch with people who did next to nothing and they were given interviews while I just waited and waited. Can you explain the logic behind that?
