Pros

I was hired for the Business Analyst program (10 week bootcamp). -Provided with a great trainer who seemed personally invested in our future and success -Learned highly relevant information for business analysis -Connected with a great company for my final job -Earned 3 highly desired certifications (ECBA, Scrum Master, Domain) -Great subsidized housing

Cons

-Low pay (but this is because Revature pays for our certifications and training) -Seems like a big risk (because you have to sign a 2 year contract within the first ten days--however, it does pay off and the training and experience gained makes it worth it) -High intensity (there is a high expectation of the work you produce and how much time you invest into your projects--BUT it IS a ten week bootcamp program that sets you up for a better future and provides you with certifications)

Pros

The training with Revature is definitely an experience. It will teach you everything you need to know to be successful in the field as a developer. Coming in, I had never heard of most of the frameworks they teach. The pace is insanely fast, but that helped me on the client projects. As a client side developer, there are times where I need to learn a technology and use it within days! The Revature training projects that you work on really help cement everything you have learned. Depending on the trainer, they may be team based projects.

Cons

If you take the job, be prepared to relocate anywhere in the United States. The pace will give you a new understanding of learning and skill progression, but it is not for anyone with any type of distraction outside of the training. Also, make sure your laptop meets any required specs they send. If your laptop is not going to survive neither will you.

Career Development is the only thing.

Cons

Poor management, loss of money in short term. Cut throat.
