One of the scummiest and corrupt businesses out there. It feels like a mafia being pulled by the strings of a PE firm. Management makes the most baffling decisions and the level of nepotism at the top is insane. The company cares more about making sure folks come in on time rather than the output. The ability to grow is hindered by incredibly short-sighted decisions. Lack of transparency is a big problem and the decisions are constantly poorly communicated. They care more about your LinkedIn background than the actual quality of the work you produce. This is where products go to die. They fire all the devs and replace them with people from India. Policies are never enforced and people are tight with the C-suite or are C-suite never get reprimanded. When the "workforce transformation" occurred, the CEO gave the most nonsensical corporate spiel and had the audacity to make a football reference. Everything he said was a lie too. When it occurred, he was working from home and only came into the office due to backlash. Tl;dr don't work here

Engineering is seen more as an expensive liability than an asset. Demotivating mottos are all over the walls like "Do your job". Draconian stranglehold on using 3rd party tools. Some products are even lacking adequate ways to view server logs. You can't even add cheap Slack bots to help with team processes. No-warning shutdowns on applications and services the teams were relying on, leaving teams scrambling for free replacements. Due to offshoring of most of the talent brought in through acquisitions, support will have limited access to remaining devs with expertise in the product. Replacing so many experienced engineers with inexperienced ones lacking mentorship from the people they replaced will have very predictable side effects on quality.
