Salaries tend to be on the lower side (still fair). Few bonuses, profit sharing packages. Cross-team communication and middle management is terrible.

Pros

PerkinElmer (now Revvity) is ok. You definitely feel you’re contributing to improving healthcare at least indirectly. Coworkers are generally very smart and committed. Decent 401k company contribution.

Cons

Overworked. Tiny pay increases. It takes years and years to advance. Executive management talks a good game about appreciating employees but that’s not reflected in pay, bonuses, or improvement in benefits. Managers can trample you without recourse if you’re not part of the boys club.
