Pros

Fair compensation, 401k match and other benefits, "free" car & gas, great people and coworkers at the ground level, generous PTO, able to work your own schedule...good job overall but can be stressful depending on the type of person you are. If you have a good manager and good team they can ease the burden of the day to day grind. Good opportunity to work for an established and well known company and cash a nice check every couple of weeks.

Cons

The other reviews are mostly spot on. Leadership at the top seems in over their head and doesn't seem to understand how things should be ran. Territories are constantly being realigned and workload continues to increase--people leaving left and right and others are left to pick up the slack and also maintain their own unrealistic goals. Company doesn't seem focused on what matters and continues to burn bridges with retail partners by forcing in new product launches that are destined to fail. Daily travel can be gruesome depending on the area that you are assigned--good luck if you don't like it and want to move unless you have family connections to pull strings. Due to the yearly restructuring of the company people are in fear of losing their jobs or being forced to move their families to other areas across the country.

Don't buy it

Pros

Surrounded by people that will make you laugh at the absurdity. 401k isn't bad.

Cons

Surrounded by people that will make you question pretty certain truths. Good people leave feeling bad. 1) It's a good ol boy culture on steroids. A TRUE Bud Light commercial on MS Teams. 2) They made an attempt to diversify Trade Marketing. The 2 outside Senior Directors hires were either fired or quit once their year was up. Poor Pittsburgh. Not inclusive 3) An overseas take over with incompetent narccists that is doing damage that will drag the business down after they receive their packages. 4) Don't buy it Global Grads - this is not a career. Your hard work will be funneled to pay off a dictator somewhere. 5) A DM who keeps surviving the cuts told me. .. his only skill was manipulating people. If you're a con that can play the game 2.5 - 4 hours a day, you'll collect a check for awhile. So many examples of this. Hey Amish Country! 6) it's not a transformation journey. It's a regressive one. Even Altria slowed down the forceouts. Trade Marketing at Reynolds has to be the least diverse on Bloombergs radar. It's insanely not reflective of what most companies are trying to acheive. All the diversity candidates are shipped to HQ to wallow in toxic politics and mundane roles that are over payed. This is how they meet their quota! The glass ceiling is real, friends. Stay away. So many people have quit or been let go. They are now promoting the bottom of the barrel. Folks that complained-gossiped-maligned- BAT, have been promoted into roles because there is no one else.

Pros

Company car Free gas Pay $50 towards phone bill Pay $50 towards internet bill Give you a printer Give you 15 days paid time off

Cons

A few months with the company and I was responsible for 2 account chains that I was never trained on. I had to figure it out with little to know help. I was taking on more challenge duties for a Sr. Territory Manager and I was just a Territory Manager Training was terrible, a job is suppose to train you to do your job and they did not effective training.
