Pros

This company cares about their employees by providing good benefits, weekly socials, and a semi-friendly working environment. In return the employees often work long hours and take pride in their work. They have retained the "small company" feel and many employees have been there for 10+ years so it feels a little like a family- that, to me, is a sign of a good work environment.

Cons

They do not support career development - such as funding conference attendance and they do not provide training - it's sink or swim and that is entirely up to you. The higher ranking employees have an exclusivity air about them - as in they stick with their own kind - but that's probably true for most executive level people.

Cons

Over the years, the company has lost a focus on good science Favoritism has been played in key groups The company, though young, seems to lost its vigor of innovation and discovery
