Pros

There are still some good people left in the organization, but they steadily leaving. Our services are still perceived to be top-notch by clients, even as the industry changes into a commodity driven market.

Cons

Management, senior and regional, are absolutely clueless about engagement, morale, and where we are heading. Or they just don't care. People quitting everywhere but no communication or retention visible, or any reaction to our massive brain drain. Quality of people gets worse, things slip through cracks, but thats ok as it is now just a numbers game. We are hanging on but I would not recommend Right Management to anyone as a place to work. Manpower stripped us to the bone, and are now shaving the bones...there's hardly anything left to shave and then we will be thrown into the trash.

Unfortunate Turn... The Good Old Days

Pros

This company used to be an amazing place to work. The highest quality staff attracting the highest quality candidates. Some of these high quality staff are still with the company. Work-life balance is quite good. They are flexible with requests for leave and time off. The paid time off is generous. The technology and span of service available to its clients is very good.

Cons

Many of the good employees have left. It is getting harder for RM to find as high quality staff as previously employed. Poor leadership. Only 3 people in the entire company could make decisions. There was no trust in the mid-management to make decisions. Whenever an idea was proposed, it took weeks to get to the top, and most likely got lost in translation as the managers fear the leadership team and do not stick up for their teams. There is zero accountability or autonomy for staff. Highly political. Depending on who you know in the company determines your lifespan there. A lot of the high quality staff leave as development opportunities are not equally or fairly distributed. Leadership are completely ignorant to cultural differences across the border. Corporate Canada is not run the same as Corporate America. Canadians are very different. Canadian staff are very different.

Pros

Right Management's talent management division is great to work for - all consultants are highly skilled professionals and committed to their work. In the office I work, new ideas are encouraged and being proactive is valued.

Cons

At times extremely long working hours. Possible career paths aren't extremely clear.
