Pros

Well run company, I thought their meetings were set up efficiently. Excellent safety culture. Good opportunity to work with other engineers, interns and operators. Most interns had interesting projects to work on as well.

Cons

Lower compensation for chemical engineers than most other companies in Utah. Limited opportunites for process engineering type positions outside of Utah. The company is mostly a mining company not a processing company. Very volatile industry. Lots of layoffs just in the 3 months I was there.

Pros

Good expat advantages and world wide job opportunities. Very structured on paper but in reality, not very efficient. Too much red tape.

Cons

A lot of me, myself and I attitudes. Too much red tape. Too much politics and egos with upper level management.

Pros

Great work environment and people. Very fast paced, you will be challenged to perform on day one. Competitive pay and benefits. Frequent opportunities to advance.

Cons

High turnover in leadership positions. Lack of focus on immediate goals. Difficult to transition to a site with represented work force if you have not been exposed to that environment.
