      Pros

      Safety and the well being of every employee is 1st priority have the network to get things done great work schedules, holiday comp, and other benefits the work and people make it an enjoyable place to be. we are Kennecott proud - we are a family

      Cons

      I HATED the Gate temp. checks for Covid... they were pointless based on the number of people who got through the gate then tested positive (we test every week, on site) - 100% of positive tests had normal temperature readings at the security gates!! - but they are gone now, yay!! thats it, I don't have any other issues with work. I LOVE MY JOB!

      Pros

      Great fringe benefits (401k, stock match, paid vacation, etc.); awesome sandbox to play in (lots of big toys, big processes, etc.). Good front-line people.

      Cons

      Foreign-owned strong matrix organization=non-local bureaucracy rules the day. High performers are rewarded with more responsibility for same pay. Common for senior management to be industrial tourist career track (2-3 yrs at a site, then move on to the next site), resulting in a solid divide between internal tourists and long-term site-invested employees.
