Pros

- Perfect environment to learn more and grow in consulting - Wide variety of tasks that advance your skillset. Includes data analysis, client communications, project management, and much more - Desirable work culture that fosters understanding and puts the employees first - Meaningful consulting work that seeks to improve the lives of others across various industries - Every employee, regardless of position or tenure, has the same voice within the company and can help drive its future

Cons

- Long hours are common due to the nature of the work. If you are new to consulting, it may feel like you're given too much responsibility - Unable to choose which consulting project you'd like to be part of

Pros

- Intelligent directors; all Ivy league educated with BCG experience - High quality output; learn and develop business skills and acumen quickly - Collaborative and fun work environment; intelligent individuals that enjoy an occasional happy hour (prior to Covid-19 anyway)

Cons

- As a new company, experiencing some growing pains as any company in the early stages does but is worthwhile for the high quality education and rapid advancement opportunities

Pros

- Wonderful people. Non-leadership especially, although many principals are fair and supportive. I feel like I have a community of people who care about me here. - Emphasis on learning and development. I've definitely furthered my career at Rios. - Overall positive culture. People are warm, playful, and respectful of one another. Strong teamwork.

Cons

- Feedback can be weird. A lot of people don't get why they're getting certain feedback during review cycles. When we don't understand or agree, they blame us and say that we're just not good at taking feedback. It can be demoralizing to receive formal reviews where our performance is graded on 1-off accidents, is misunderstood, or simply wasn't told to us to fix in real time. - Partners and other leadership can be hard to trust. There was a series of firings last winter that was kept hush-hush until colleagues started dropping like flies. We didn't know why and a lot of us got scared that we'd be next.
