My Experience with Rios

Pros

Most people at Rios are great, ambitious, smart and value-driven. Some projects are interesting, have good work-life balance and a strong team culture.

Cons

High turnover rate. Compare median tenure on LinkedIn Premium with leading consulting firms. Experience varies significantly depending on staffing. Leadership lacks transparency. They talk a good talk but when it comes down to it, many in leadership won't shy away from unethical practices if they think it's in their best interest.

We're grateful for your feedback about your time with Rios. It's great to hear you've found our firm provides a good work-life balance. Our turnover is in line with the industry, but we understand it might seem low or high depending on your previous work experiences.

Dishonest Leadership

Pros

There are some nice colleagues that care about the work. Good work life balance. Great analyst and consultant community.

Cons

Leadership is very dishonest about expectations. Poor performance management systems lead to many being surprised about performance review and ultimate firing. Leadership sees performance improvement plans as an “opportunity to show your worth” rather than a last ditch effort to retain an employee after ongoing retention efforts fail. Leadership more interested in employees pushing their way to the forefront than working collaboratively to get work done.

We’re glad you enjoyed your colleagues and work-life balance. We take performance management very seriously and we're sorry the process did not meet your expectations.
