Pros

-Really great ICs and fun projects -Decent amount of ownership on small scales

Cons

-Fired me due to an unfounded rumor on social media, no relation to work relations or output. Company rather bury everything; gossip, nepotism, and making friends are the only thing the company values from their employees -Very little ability to move upwards or start to own larger scale features -Very low pay compared to other game companies, especially traditional tech

Pros

You can still work fully remote

Cons

PIP abused, the manager use "alignment" to cheat employee in order to quickly terminate by PIP If you think merit will get you promoted, this place is not for you. Promotions here are reserved for those who perform loyalty, fabricate optics, and obey authority. If you write code, you're a tool. If you write the script, you're leadership. External branding: freedom, player-first, engineering-led. Internal reality: factions, performance art, political maneuvering. You think you’re building systems — but really, you’re just constructing someone else’s promotion stage. Engineers, Avoid Unless You Want to Learn How to Get Your Credit Stolen Everyone Says 'Player First' but No One Really Means It Heaven for Performers, Hell for Engineers

Pros

- Exceptional benefits package and compensation - Comfortable work environment with great amenities (kitchen, food, snacks) - Talented colleagues and interesting projects - Generous vacation policy - Truly one of the most comfortable workplaces I've experienced

Cons

- The comfort becomes a trap that gradually drains your ambition and energy - Despite working on interesting projects, professional growth feels stagnant - Excessive corporate bureaucracy that slows down meaningful progress - Surprisingly competitive atmosphere with limited genuine connections - Office environment can be extremely noisy and distracting (open floor plan makes concentration difficult) - Disconnect between performance and advancement opportunities - Inconsistent recognition - received praise for being a top performer but no corresponding promotions or raises General advice: Negotiate for hybrid work from the beginning - the office environment can be extremely challenging for focused work. Come for the benefits and salary, but manage your expectations regarding career advancement. If you're highly ambitious and motivated by growth, be prepared for potential frustration with the pace of advancement. This is a place where you can be extremely comfortable but may find yourself years later wondering where your career momentum went. Many employees stay for 7-10 years, which speaks to the comfort level, but raises questions about professional development. The company offers security and stability but may slowly dim your professional spark if you're not careful. Rating: 3/5 - Great for comfort-seekers, challenging for ambitious professionals
