High expectations, high accountability, high growth
Pros
I've really enjoyed working at Rippling over the past year+. I've had the chance to: -Work with some of the smartest people in my career -Learned a lot from stretch assignments to a promotion -Had significant career opportunities -Had my voice heard among multiple c-suite stakeholders on workstreams that I lead or impact my team -Been able to attract, hire, and retain top talent -Push back on leaders or requests to appropriately balance moving fast enough with doing things well Other pros: -We have a very fair and equitable compensation, hiring, promotion, and raise process -Company culture and values are very strong and I feel we make the right integrity-driven and business decisions consistently -The company itself is performing incredibly well and that makes me motivated to keep working hard & value my equity
Cons
The company is a performance-driven organization. Personally, I'd rather work in this type of environment where I know where I stand, know how to succeed (ie there's low politics), and can rely on my teammates to do good work. The con, is that it means we work hard (but not as hard as i-banking or consulting) and it can be stressful.
