Pros

The product overall is great so its easy when you believe in it. The onboarding was good, and its 5-6 weeks long before they throw clients at you. Obviously, you won't learn and retain everything but you get a great baseline knowledge of implementation, the products and what is expected of you in your role. Basically everything is documented internally or in the help center. If you are a great figure-outer and can do your own research, you will do well at Rippling. They also have lots of office hours and extra training sessions, as well as Slack channels to help answer questions and further your knowledge. The system is so user friendly that you and clients can figure out a lot on their own. It is really a good product and unlike any other that I have used. Very well thought out and integrations that actually work.

Cons

They are growing very fast and they release new products and features fast. They do their best to communicate to the teams, but it can be a lot at times. If you do not come from a benefits or payroll heavy background, it can be hard learning all of the language and verbiage associated with it. It can be intimidating because they are big on pushing you to figure things out yourself before asking questions. And the growth and speed of things can seem like a lot, but they tell you that up front.

Pros

- Leadership: C-levels are transaprent and approachable. Most importantly, they've led Rippling on a great trajectory and have ambitious but reasonable goals. - Coworkers: People are competent and easy to work with across all functions. Those that don't meet the bar are quickly managed out. - Career growth: For those that want it, Rippling has plenty of opportunities to take on outsized scope and build new products. Rippling rewards high performers meaningfully.

Cons

- Benefits: Health insurance is expensive with dependents. No 401k match which is unfortunate but understandable at Rippling's current stage. - Work life balance: Compared to past jobs, I have been consistently very busy at Rippling during my tenure here. Rippling can be challenging for those with family and other life commitments.

Pros

I've been with Rippling for 3+ years and have grown personally and professionally. I've learned I'm motivated by competing in business, have had the most impact of my career, and learned more about how to manage myself than my previous 10+ yrs in tech. -- Outsized opportunity for growth: Rippling provides unmatched growth opportunities. You'll be challenged and out of your comfort zone constantly. -- Incredibly ambitious colleagues: The bar for performance is high, which pushes everyone to continuously improve. You'll learn something new from nearly everyone. -- Rare Product Market Fit: Rippling excels in delivering real ROI to clients and continues to evolve our product offering.

Cons

-- Longevity and pace: The fast-paced culture, often compared to a sports team, demands peak performance consistently. While invigorating, it can be challenging to sustain over the long term. -- Benefits: Health benefits and paternity leave are subpar. As a company focused on HR, stronger benefits would go a long way to ensure Rippling is the right company for people regardless of where they are in their personal life. Overall, working at Rippling has been a unique opportunity to grow at a pace few companies in the valley can match. Don't hesitate if provided the opportunity.
