Incredible product, co-workers, and customers
Pros
As a former end-user of most of our competing products, it is amazing to support a product that works as well as Rippling does. That opens the door for thoughtful, strategic, impactful work with customers. It is not unusual to contribute in a way that saves a customer time and effort for years to come. The sheer volume of smart, hilarious, and overall non-jerk people that Rippling has hired over the past 3 three years is incredible. On top of that, there's a strong collaborative vibe- Folks are willing to help and enable each other, even on a 1:1 basis, away from our many Slack channels. Last but not least, Rippling is able to count many well-known and up companies among its client base, and they are jam-packed with incredible end-users as well.
Cons
Rippling releases a lot of products - This can make it difficult to thrive in a generalist type of role, such as the TAM role. Finding a solid work/life balance can be a bit of a struggle, particularly when a launch hits a few bumps, or during peak busy times, such as Open Enrollment and End-of-Year. Being vocal about process gaps often means that you are volunteering to run point on addressing the gap. Also, as our headcount continues to rise, it has become a bit more challenging to find the right resource or point person when edge cases arise.
