Pros

Remote work, nice middle managers, tuition reimbursement

Cons

Lay offs, work culture that emphasizes working past 5 every day, major instability and constant change, doesn’t promote from within

Pros

Working remotely was a plus. As an employee, AP provides you with tokens of appreciation for wrting a positive review about them on Glassdoor.

Cons

Being underutilized. Constant reorganization since I started, which I guess can be exciting. This organization is very top heavy. If you are a former consultant at Bain, McKinsey etc. come on down. And if you are a man, come join the 'Good Ole Boy Club.'

Pros

There are some really good people working at Academic Partnerships at the front line. Many of them truly are passionate about the universities they represent and the students they serve. If they were given the chance, they could really make this company the hands-down industry leader.

Cons

All of the problems stem from the top. To say there is poor leadership would imply that there is leadership to begin with, and that's simply not the case. What you do have is a smattering of initiatives, thrown at the workers, literally willy-nilly, and a bunch of decent people trying against all odds to prevent the craziness at the executive level from causing harm to the university partners and the students. Unfortunately, that's not always possible.
