Pros

Many of the employee's in the day to day operations are some of the best and hard working people you will ever meet. All are overworked and under paid.

Cons

Ritchie has one of the poorest management groups in place now that it has ever had, all left over from the former CEO.

Pros

Great coworkers, endless opportunities in the market, decent benifits, company car, other than auction time plenty of free time

Cons

Compensation well below market, upper management either legacy guys with out current business understanding or Canadian yes men who don't have abilities to lead or sell. New CEO has driven away all dedicated staff leaving only incompetence. Compensation plan has more deduction from bonus than additions.

Pros

Benefits and working environment is top notch. Company also has deep pockets, so expect top quality things. Minimum $500+ task chairs for everyone working a desk job. Experience using expensive software that you likely won't get to use in most private companies. Awesome place if you're a lifer or floater, you'll fit right in.

Cons

When you basically run a monopoly and making money is easy, people get complacent. An average day in the office is more about talking to people about your weekend and what you plan on doing in the next weekend. Work is almost secondary. Moving up revolves more around your people skills rather than performance. So pucker up!
