Pros

Plenty of work. Lot's of opportunity to take a leadership role. Lot's of new technologies and chances to explore new solutions and introduce change. Has the excitement of a start-up but the operations of a fortune 500.

Cons

Not just a 9 to 5. Lot's of extra time. No real grooming or training.

Pros

Excellent technology, friendly people, and customers seem to love the product.

Cons

The culture of the organization made it difficult for a remote worker to succeed. As a new person, nobody had time to devote to helping you learn and very few people used electronic chat tools (Slack, etc) to communicate. As a result, it was extremely difficult to ask questions and find answers in a timely fashion.
