Pros

Riverside Research has better benefits than any other government contractor in the WPAFB area. Compensation is also very competitive, if you are able to accurately estimate what you should be making and ask for it. Riverside treats their employees like family and is loath to let anyone go. Though contracts come and go, Riverside recognizes that people are its greatest asset and works hard to find people new positions.

Cons

Due to the nature of government contracts (i.e. the tendency of employees to be embedded at client sites), it can be difficult to gain recognition for accomplishments. Employees with behavioral problems tend to get special treatment in the form of better positions.
