Pros

Every market and every office is different at Half and a lot of it's really driven by the people. You might get lucky and work with a solid team that has your back or work wiht a bunch of sleeze ball Shezads that will always have their hand in your pocket...it's a crap shoot. It's a metrics driven, sink or swim environment, but it can be very lucrative if you are successful. Plus, if you are successful they typically give you a lot of freedom and leave you alone to make money.

Cons

Comp plans are always changing, never for the good of the employee. They don't pay for parking anymore and on the temp side when you work "desk" expect to be there all week from 7am - 6:30pm and don't think about stepping away for lunch that week.

Pros

Knowledgeable Division Director who has been there 15+ years and I am lucky to be surrounded by a very senior staff who can mentor me through every scenario I have encountered thus far.

Cons

Not for the faint of heart. This is a hard-core sales environment at it's finest, definitely be prepared to work long hours and your life will revolve around the phone. This should be no problem for you at all if you are truly a sales professional, that is the name of the game in any sales role. If you don't think you can handle that I suggest you look at other opportunities.

Corrupt Management, all politics, Supervisors are given promotion based on friendship not job knowledge.

Good benefits, structured bonus and raise schedule, nice employees (non-management)

Cons

The management is severely corrupt! HR does not protect employees, they only protect the very Supervisors and Managers that corrupt the policies, the very same policies they lay down. Nepotism and friendship dictate promotion, NOT years of dedicated service NOR work experience.
