Pros

No cap on compensation Good support from management, for the most part Opportunity for advancement based on performance, not tenure 'You run your own business' model Fun, lively culture

Cons

You can work through several lifetimes at RHI, and they will let you. Taking vacation is only encouraged during winter months when workloads are light, and because CTO (choice time off) hours do not roll over. Workload varies greatly. Flow of job orders is highly inconsistent and the majority of requisitions are short term specialty roles with no better pay than than average (if not less) for the job. RHI seems to pick up the scraps and pay the worker the bare minimum they will accept to preserve their outrageous markups. 'Proactive' recruiting model difficult to market to candidates if you don't have a job to talk to them about. Not allowed to tell candidates hardly anything about a job until they meet with you in-person, fill out all paperwork and give references. Technology severely lagging. That's most of it, but I could go on.

Pros

As far as pros, I can really only say that it can provide an opportunity to individuals possessing no applicable professional experience -- specifically those currently in a retail/restaurant environment looking to get into something new.

Cons

Highly unrewarding "sweat shop" mentality. Very misleading during interview regarding true nature of Staffing Mgr position, salary and bonus potential. Definitely not a place that those possessing any professional HR, Recruiting, business experience would find acceptable. Very disrespectful poorly behaved employees that I was quite embarrassed to be associated with

Pros

The pay is very good, but staying there for more than 90 days is a major accomplishment!

Cons

I left a job that paid me almost 70k a year to come work for Robert Half. This was the worst professional decision I have ever made. This was the worst professional experience of my young career. My manager told me "if I show you how to do it then I would have no time to do my own work"... Seriously?!!?!?! The fist day on the job they wanted me to take 80 calls with no training at all. This place is the worst! hours are 7:30am til 6:00pm but if your manager stays later then you are expected to do the same. Please stay away from this place, it will kill you, I promise.
