Pros

Paid weekly Time Off Pay in between assignments

Cons

Robert Half finds you jobs and places you there. They don't keep in communication and once you're placed they don't make sure you're doing the work they had initially said you would be doing. Robert Half doesn't disclose your billing rate. They were billing me at a rate to which they were only paying me about 30% of that rate. They don't care about your well-being or how much you're making. You are just a cash cow to them.

Pros

Working in the Austin, TX branch. RH invests into training their employees. Office culture is pretty good. They’re pretty good at reimbursing you for expenses. Located right in The Domain area (central to Austin, but given that Austin is now ranked #4 in the nation for worst traffic, could be a long drive for anyone living too far North or South).

Cons

As much as RH invests into training, they don’t train on successful methodologies. They don’t sell on relationships or building trust, but rather pushing candidates into clients emails/voicemails or even if you’re in-person. RH is one of the largest users of Salesforce, so their customized Salesforce has a million ways to do one thing. There’s no training on how to utilize Salesforce the most effective way possible, or even a strategy that everyone agrees on. Very high turnover and always making their employees worry about job security. Even if you’re on track to meet your goals and achieving weekly all time new highs, if it’s not to their unrealistically high standards...you’re out. This being said, management clearly has favorites. While at RH, I’ve seen numerous people laid off for not meeting expectations, however, there could be another employee doing A LOT worse who has also been there longer, but they’re still in the seat? Extreme micromanagement when it comes to production.

Pros

Charity work during holiday season which was nice.

Cons

-poor management team -rude/clicky team members - poor employee treatment by manager who was not rightfully promoted, with ZERO previous managerial skill. - MICROMANAGEMENT to the absolute max - NO FREEDOM - Watched like a hawk and monitored entire working day. - Hassle you about every detail - Does not acknowledge employees hard work and LONG hours. - Forced fun (holiday events, charity work etc) - terrible, loud, cold environment - Once business is gained, they fire you - will not provide proper feedback or a reference
