Pros
Innovative work structure and previously a supportive work environment , that is no longer the case.
Cons
Nepotism and toxicity. Throughout RH’s growth continuum we adjusted the goal posts to fit to scale where we were at a given point in time. With the addition of the site in Westlake the downfall of the Robinhood way began. They brought in a couple of people from Fidelity who then brought in more of their people from Fidelity and have strategically dotted themselves around the company to assure that they can have the greatest amount of control as well as the ability to look out for their own. The things that I learned would blow the heads off of any effective HR Department. Incompetence is rewarded with promotions. I am not at all surprised to see Robinhood falling apart at the seams. This was a company that I initially cared about and fully supported, I do not recognize this version of Robinhood. I could not possibly ever recommend anyone within my own network to work for this company. **I was not laid off, I left by choice as I couldn’t endure the mockery of a brokerage firm that is being steered into the ground by one site.
