      Amazing company I had no idea about

      Pros

      -> Great People -> Exploding Growth -> Product you can be proud of -> Outstanding benefits (Food, Caltrain, Etc.) -> Brand new office

      Cons

      -> The Commuter bus near Caltrain sometimes isn't there and you have to walk from the station to the office, but not a major factor

      best-kept secret in silicon valley

      Pros

      The company already has amazing product-market fit and a killer growth trajectory, although since it's seen as a "kids product", it's very overlooked by tech media. Add to that, the CEO is the boldest thinker I have encountered in 10+ years in tech. He invests the long-term right thing to do over the short-term gimmick every single time, and it has paid off with sustained growth and remarkable technology. Add to that, since it's a "kids product" a lot of the people who work here are parents, which gives the whole place a very mature and work/life friendly vibe. I almost didn't work here because I worried it wasn't "A-list", but I'm very glad I took the offer. I wish I could give 2 thumbs up for the 6-month business outlook. Talent here & comp are just as good as better-known companies, and honestly the upside here is better than most.

      Cons

      It's a fast-growing startup, which means that everyone has to get their hands dirty, and process/org/priorities can change pretty quickly (like, overnight). It's a constant learning curve, and requires a certain amount of go-with-the-flow attitude. Some of the senior leaders are still growing into their level of responsibility.
