Disappointing Workplace Facilities Experience
Pros
Free breakfast/lunch, convenient office location, standard tech benefits/perks
Cons
Leadership fixated on scrutinizing minor tasks and mocking employees who requested policy clarity or accommodations. All team communication lived in a single overloaded group text requiring real time updates. Mandated rigid 45-hour in-office weeks plus 24/7 availability (no comp time). Advancement depended on personal rapport and loyalty to management, not skill. Leadership blamed vendors, bandwidth or "entitled" office population for systemic issues—never their own choices. The same problems (broken feedback, chaotic communication, zero growth) persisted from day one. Solutions were always pinned to hypothetical future changes that never materialized. Culture turned senior staff into passive yes-men. No accountability for leadership—only performative deflection. The most toxic leadership and culture I've ever experienced.
