Ex corporate managers (Kodak as example), tend to ruin the environment. Bonus incentives for management weighted to much for making budget. High turn over in my department. I'm planning on leaving after 5 years (I'll be vested). One of the most important aspects of the hospital - keeping it clean - fails miserably. At times the staff is stretched dangerously thin. Bad for both staff and patients and staff. Bad communication and poorly organized.

I don't like my specific unit and am looking to move to another. There are no unions here and every floor can make its own policies to whatever the manager sees fit within reason. And if you want to move up you have to do a ridiculous amount of work to make $1-2 more an hour. Not worth it in my opinopn.
