Very flexible in regards to work/life balance Highly values family and any situations that may occur The flexibility allowed me the freedom to leave if needed as long as my work was done which it always was More Technically sound than most companies, very innovative when initiating new ideas that benefit the company

Cons

Great stepping stone into career but pay is not competitive compared to other companies Decent for African Americans to work but many leave because of stagnant limited growth options There are not many African Americans in Executive positions which can be discouraging due to them being ranked one of the most Ethical Companies out there

Depends on your team and manager, you can have fairly different experiences. Some are more micro-managing some are very hands off. Overall there are a lot of learning opportunities especially through working with diverse functions. There are endless projects to pick up if one desires to strengthen his/her skills and experience. Lots of positions available, good for career enhancement. Manager and HR support advancing your skills and knowledge as long as you ask for it.

Slower pace Resistance to change high. Compromises and willingness to understand new ideas low depending on the function

Pros

A great place to work, nice people, latest technologies and many opportunities to growth in the organization. There are no restrictions to access resources in the company, as it proves to be important to customers. Very dynamic organization which values those who challenge the organization to do better and growth the business.

Cons

Relocation from Latin America to USA does not follow the expatriate model, which means less benefits when comparing to Americans moving abroad. Although there are formal HR programs to promote a better balance between family and work, employees working extra-time are better recognized, which creates a paradigm to be solved.
