Still a good ol'e boys club. Management talks diversity and inclusion, but my department is still very much all white men.

Thanks for taking the time to provide your perspective. We strive to achieve a workforce that reflects the communities where we live and work, and as you’ve noted, we're not there yet. The good news is that our leaders are committed, and our overall progress in representation of women globally and people of color in the U.S. has been increasing year over year. Progress is stronger in some departments than in others – we continuously look to leverage where we have had success, and address areas where we have opportunities to improve. I am proud that we have Inclusion Change Teams working in every business and function to remove barriers to inclusion. If you are not familiar with this team, or who to contact, please contact me at mmatthai@ra.rockwell.com. I’d be happy to chat about any other ideas you have to create a more diverse and inclusive environment at Rockwell Automation.

Pros

Good pay for the area And benefits package goid

Cons

People that have worked there for years are rude. Bullies that like to talk about you or just plain ignore you like your not there. Supervisors don’t care enough to do anything about it or can be bullies themselves

Terrible for Millenials

Pros

Decent pay, some aspects of the culture are good.

Cons

White boys club. They say diversity and inclusion is a priority yet they also mock it. They make fun of millenials, calling them entitled and lazy, yet a lot of their workforce will be retiring soon. There is a culture that is risk averse, unwilling to learn new technologies and complains about even the slightest, slowest change. White male privilege everywhere.
