Pros

The people are great. You are supported if you want to change roles and get different experiences.

Cons

Salaries are low. They say the culture is good, but don’t back that up. There is too much emphasis on attracting new external talent and not enough on retaining great loyal talent.

Covid Response 10/14

Pros

I had some, but after seeing the response to Covid, they don't make up for this.

Cons

Abysmal. Dangerous. The response would be what you'd expect out of a Wisconsin based company. Protecting rights to not wear masks, but not others right to not get sick, spread the virus to others. Pathetic.

Pros

Technical product; requires a lot of smart people to make and sell these products. Decent vacation/holiday policy. Appreciate the drive for inclusion. Workload is relatively good.

Cons

With the pivot to software, it is clear that if you're in a hardware business, you don't matter. Business and organizational decisions are questionable at best. Culture shifted from tell the truth and do what we can to if you aren't on board you're fired/out. Offshoring to Poland as much as possible, which is fine, but they think experience and intelligence in this highly technical industry are interchangeable. The reorgs, prioritization, and leadership are constantly changing (it never used to be like that). Feels like Blake Moret wants to be a rockstar CEO. It is clear stock price is all they care about when all employees took a large Covid pay cut and execs got record stock prices (and a large pay cut, but let's be honest, the stock options are larger portion of their compensation).
