Polarizing Company

Pros

They have a lot of perks (free food, elaborate kick off events, great parties, decent salary) and you will find a bond with teammates that promotes real comradery.

Cons

There is a very bad culture underneath all the bells and whistles. Senior HR people are friends with senior leaders giving their abusive behavior immunity. The promote obedience over skill every time. It is expected that you "smoke and mirrors" with your engagement scores, c-suite can be aggressive and often verbally abusive, and that trickles down in to all leadership. There is a clique culture and if you are in the in crown you are untouchable no matter how bad your performance. They motivate with fear and having a husband wife scenario makes bringing issues to the top extremely challenging.

Pros

Rokt Seattle is a fun place to work! The team is small, but extremely close which makes coming into the office enjoyable. There are always activities and small events that give the team members a chance to bond and joke around. Seattle leadership actually listen to employee feedback and respond with action to improve the employee experience. Since the headcount is small, everyone gets the opportunity to contribute to the growing space. The company is transparent about compensation with all employees. Anyone can learn how much a colleague gets paid. The company provides additional perks: catered lunch, unlimited snacks, drinks, 16 PTO days, 10 sick days, monthly phone and wellness allowances, a two week holiday shutdown followed by a paid company-wide conference trip to start the new year.

Cons

Parking situation can be unpredictable due to the office being located across Lumen Field. Leadership try to give employees notice, as well as other parking options, if a stadium event is coming up. You have to be in-office fours days per week. There are no hybrid options.
