Pros

If you have an English accent, you'll get promoted quickly. People recognize the name on the resume, but have no idea what you do

Cons

-2600 Layoffs announced this year -Lost 7 paid holidays last year -Tuition reimbursement was promised but doesn't actually exist, depending on department director -Constant management org changes, not exaggerating -No engines designed in Indy anymore -A dying site -Salary will drop to around 90-92% of industry average for "high performers", less for average people. Pros

Rolls-Royce has good products. They are a global company and there are opportunities for international assignments if you choose to do that.

Cons

HR is the worst of any company I've ever encountered in 30+ years in the workforce. The company generally doesn't care about its employees. You are just a number to them. Having worked in the government prior to R-R, I will say that government processes are absolutely streamlined and efficient compared to the rampant bureaucracy of R-R. If your not willing to be frustrated with unreasonable processes, horrible IT infrastructure, unsupportive Human Resources, and the constant whittling away of benefits, then run from this company . . . far and fast.

Pros

Decent pay/benefits. Free parking for downtown location.

Cons

Very bureaucratic organization with arrogant leadership. They've made things so complicated that they can't get out of their own way, which shows in their financials and stock price, yet those who create this environment stay. It is also extremely passive/aggressive culture - people/managers will act like they are ok with you, then complain behind your back. In this sense, the management is very cowardly. I would not recommend to work here.
