Pros

There are no pros. This company sucks. If I could give negative stars I would. -5 (at least)

Cons

This company made me physically sick in the years I worked there. Harassment. Bullying. Insincerity. Overworked. Underpaid. Unappreciated. Controlling of EARNED PTO. No overtime pay, but they expect you to put in 10-15 hours of overtime a week (in corporate) and there is no reimbursement for this. There is very little diversity working in corporate, even though all they talk about is the $$$ that comes in from their diverse customer base, and how to squeeze more money out of these poor people. This company is also run by a bunch of outdated boomers who have no idea what's in style now (regarding actual merchandise, or attitudes towards human beings).

Pros

I had one amazing leader

Cons

HR has many functions in a business however, one of their primary functions should be to create positive, safe, diverse and harassment, free work environment. Unfortunately, in HR, we saw associates who were worked to the bone in thankless jobs, leaders who were overwhelmed and fired for very little reason and district leaders, who hated their lives and had a little to know work life balance. Several of the HR people went on their own leave of absences and ended up leaving the company due to their own medical concerns which they attributed to the culture at Ross. Multiple people have raised their concerns to the company and have consistently been ignored. This has been going on for years and change has not happened. You know company is bad when the HR people are living in the exact environment they should be protecting the employees from.

Pros

Very stable, almost never layoffs, 3 days a week WFH for now.

Cons

THE TECHNOLOGY IS HORRIBLE AND OUTDATED. The tech is so bad and outdated it makes doing your job quickly and accurately nearly impossible, especially in finance. And you will still be expected to do everything perfect from the start without proper help or resources. Managers micromanage constantly, offer little help, and cater to every single outside request. The feedback from management is mostly negative and passive-aggressive rather than helpful and empowering. The analysts are put below everyone else and the company is ALWAYS put first before anyone's mental health. Yes, it is a stable company but the day-to-day is absolutely horrible and will CRUSH YOUR SOUL...RUN!
