Pros

The people/colleagues Vacation days Rolling over vacation days

Cons

Directors/Trustees too self-absorbed to know what's going on HR is surreptitious, power hungry, and ultimately ineffective Executive management team is happy to pass the buck since it's better than them hemming and hawing and never making a decision of consequence

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. With Rotary’s Leadership Attribute Model, we’ve emphasized that all our roles (especially those that will lead others) are held by those who have exhibited past behaviors that align with the critical competencies needed for the position. Rotary believes that everyone is a leader and trusts its staff with a wide range of responsibilities and empowers them to make decisions that support staff, Rotarians, and volunteers while moving Rotary forward in its mission. While some may view the EMT delegating decision making as passing the buck, others may view it as confidence and trust in their teams. Leading the way to an extraordinary employee experience is one of the core objectives of Rotary’s Global People and Talent team (“HR”). They strive to protect Rotary and its staff with consistency, regardless of the situation. We invite you to speak to your Global People & Culture Partner regarding your concerns – our door is always open.
