Pros

The best thing is you do have a great work-life balance. You rarely work more than 40 hours/week. It's also a great commute from the city - 30 minutes each way. Your job is very specific and you don't get pulled into a million other things.

Cons

it's a sick building; people tear you down, not build you up; for a smaller company, they are extremely siloed; you get repremanded for spending any time on the internet, even if just during your lunch break; pay is average for a non-profit but way below what you make at a corp. entity.

Pros

Convenient location for anyone living on Chicago's north side or north shore suburban dwellers. Close to Metra and Purple Line.

Cons

Office staff stifled by slow-moving, backwards thinking Board of Directors and Trustees.
