Pros

Very flexible with personal requests, 37.5 hour work week, tries for work life balance. Great mission for the organization. Staff is filled with interesting people that really have international experience.

Cons

Organization needs to modernize but even with a new CEO old guard continual beats back those trying to move the organization forward. A lot of passive aggressive management makes true advancement difficult. This also leads to a very guarded management that does not share information well and makes abrupt decisions that affect staff positions and roles.

Pros

Work with great colleagues and volunteers in a diverse, globally focused environment. This is an organization with a real mission, which is open about the need to undergoing further change to ensure the work we do has real impact. I work in the Communications area and the culture is very positive. It’s great to work with people who want to make a difference! The leadership is strong. Changes have been made in particular this past year to improve the work we do.

Cons

Challenging at times to work with volunteers.
