Pros

Nothing about this company is a pro.

Cons

Do you remember High School cliques? If you enjoyed High School cliques this is the place for you! Rover does not value employees, and the leadership is an absolute joke. Run far, far away from this poop show.

Pros

In the beginning, Rover was an amazing crew, great people and management who truly cared for each other and wanted the best for your team. Were allowed to bring dog to work and bereavement if your pet passed.

Cons

Has become very corporate. To save money they let go of several departments and smashed them into one, but did not increase compensation or employees to make up the difference. This position specifically can be mentally and emotionally draining, and compassion fatigue was a huge issue. They stopped listing to the agents regarding best work flow and had management make up work flows that did not work, but refused to admit to this. Those workflows that agents spent months creating, certain management gave the credit to other managers who were not involved instead of the agents. Pay was significantly less than other jobs in this position ($10-15 less an hour). Massive lay off due to Covid. During a meeting with our management after, they made a promise they would hire back once they re-opened positions, even told employees who stayed to reach out to friends and pst employees to apply, then gave a copied and pasted denial email to each past employee. Was specifically asked by an old supervisor to apply. Most of the current issues in this department seem to be around a specific manager, even now with employees who are still with the company.

Pros

Flexible, reliable, I made a decent income when I was unable to hold my other income.

Cons

I didn’t like that rates would go up at certain times, but they fixed that I think due to making clients unhappy. I didn’t like being messaged when I wasn’t available and being rated on bookings.
