Pros

Dogs in the office Co-worker culture

Cons

Discrimination involving gaslighting and denial Boys club c level Backwards leadership Low pay and very stingy benefits HR is punitive and bullying against its employees The leadership at this company is discriminatory in its promotion practices and gaslights employees who try to raise this issue. Any questioning of leadership is seen as an attack on their intelligence, and leadership will twist the values of the company to justify negative feedback to anyone who dares question their decisions or ideas. They will nitpick how you share feedback especially if you are a woman. HR has no interest in this issue and only exists to protect senior leaders and cut benefits. Ask for data on how many women, particularly minority women, in tech roles have been promoted to senior levels as compared to men, and on what timelines (how long in current role on average to be promoted). If you need further non-anonymous evidence, find the BLM post which Rover shared on LinkedIn. Brave employees spoke out against the empty words by the company on this performative post in order to hold the company accountable for the wake of toxic experiences it contributed to among its diverse former employees. This is not the place for diverse candidates, I am sharing this in the hope that it will save others from experiencing the pain of being discriminated against.
