Pros

Dogs, catered lunch, and a growing market.

Cons

Egos follow an exponential growth curve, while talent has more or less stabilized. The company will mark you as an outcast if you do not conform to their technology decisions and practices, especially anything to do with Django ;). The company is at the whim of their investors, so don't expect to have your opinion heard ... or even considered for that matter.

Pros

Decent location, friendly dogs, free snacks.

Cons

Job roles change at drop of a hat. Management does not take ownership of their mistake. Lack of training. Lack of discussion between departments. Transient career until another company comes along with a more robust platform. Very, very high turnover in past year.

Pros

At Rover, everyone really lives out the core values. It's a very transparent company, and the leadership is awesome. Excellent work life balance, people come in, work hard, and go home. Smart people work here, but there are no egos.

Cons

At this time I do not have any cons.
