Pros

-Lots of loving and amazing dogs - Great Location - Lots of Growth - Cool Product

Cons

I would think long and hard about what is important to you before taking this job! It's easy to get distracted and excited about the cute puppies and the company growth but under the surface Rover is full of disorganization, indecisive leadership and transparency is a value, but not often demonstrated correctly.

Pros

Working for Rover has been great thus far! I really enjoy the people I work with and appreciate the sense of belonging. I actually feel cared for instead of just another employee to add to the list. I feel supported and encouraged to pursue my goals.

Cons

24/7 support, so that means you may work holidays. Pay is on the lower end. No bad but, not great either. No sick pay, you have to use your vacation to cover your sick days.

Pros

The culture at Rover.com is amazing! People work really hard, help each other out and care about providing a quality service to dogs and their owners. I can honestly say that I haven't come across a single person that doesn't give their all, every day. The commitment to excellence is obvious, the office is a fun place to be and the work-life balance is wonderful. Most people are able to work from home once a week and if personal time is needed, there isn't hesitation in saying "yes, take whatever time you need." The executive team is well-balanced, driven and involved with all employees as much as possible. The benefits are really great; some of the best I've ever had: 4 weeks of PTO (with additional days earned for being a Rover sitter); good health insurance (though I haven't used it much, so can't attest to all of the details); free Orca card; lots of company events, happy hours and free food; you can bring your dog to work; etc.

Cons

Because it's a rapidly growing company, there are some minor growing pains with communication and schedules are packed, so it can be difficult to schedule meetings/have available conference rooms. But, it's a part of the fun of a fast-paced startup! The one benefit that is lacking would be a pet insurance stipend. It only seems like the next logical benefit for our employees.
