Pros

Since I joined Rover I found a new motivation to excel. The place is great, colleagues are smart, welcoming and nice. The analytics community level is very high. Good work-life balance and fantastic culture.

Cons

Quite a few meetings on the overlap between US-EU timezone which don't allow for much flexibility in that timeslot

Pros

It's a really good feeling to be part of a business that so many people know - and that has a meaningful impact in their lives, and the lives of their pets. Rover has a great work-life balance, but you're also working with intelligent people who take pride in their work. The business has a clear plan and some exciting stretch goals, so it's an exciting time to join - but they still really care about having a positive culture. People are friendly and always willing to help, and everyone I've worked with in the leadership team has taught me something. When I interviewed, the team was refreshingly honest about the company culture and challenges I could expect - and you're given a lot of trust to do your job well. The benefits are great (private medical insurance, pension and plenty of paid personal/family/pet-related leave days) and there are loads of perks too (work-from-home/wellness allowances, meal vouchers, in-office treats). We only need to be in the office twice a week...and you can bring your dog!

Cons

If you're looking for a fully remote role - you may not find it here. While there are some remote positions from time to time, most of the roles are hybrid, so expect to do two days a week in the office.

Pros

Great people, great office, great product. Everything is very easy and there's lots of opportunities for impact. Lots of opportunities for growth as well.

Cons

Meetings that are sometimes mildly inconvenient hours for meetings with Seattle, but lots of people adapt their schedules, so it's quite okay.
