Pros

I established my career here, or at least took it to a new level. I got to focus on the development that most interested me and at the same time learn from others. I wasn’t expected to know everything and had opportunity to research solutions, which was very helpful. The casual environment and dress code were also nice along with some flexibility of schedule. Not everyone had too be exactly on the same schedule and if you had exceptions occasionally, management was usually flexible and would try to accommodated you and let you make up time.

Cons

Could have used more developers in our group but physical space was limited because the company was growing. I'm sure every department felt like they could use more people. Update: I understand they moved to a much nicer and bigger building since I was with them, so I don't think needing more office space should be an issue anymore.

Pros

True Empowerment: This is not a "stay in your lane" culture. Every employee is given a real opportunity to help change and improve the business. Your voice genuinely matters. Expertise is Respected: The company highly values the insights of the people doing the work. If a process is broken, you are trusted as the expert to help fix it. Low-Ego Environment: When you present a new idea or a better way of doing things, you are met with openness, not resistance. There's a shared goal of "getting it right" rather than "being right." Actionable Feedback: This is the key difference. You don't just send suggestions into a void. You are actively listened to, and you can see your feedback lead to real, tangible changes. Supportive & Collaborative: Peers and leaders are incredibly generous with their time and knowledge, but they are also eager to listen and learn from you. It's a culture built on mutual respect.

Cons

It's a specialty sector that can have a bit of a learning curve at first, but there's plenty of support and guidance to help with that.

Pros

The welcoming and introduction to the company was phenomenal. Great story behind the History of the company, their beliefs, views and what it stands for. A lot of talent and hard workers from what I ended up noticing on my 1st day.

Cons

A very Fast paced atmosphere. But shows commitment from everyone
