Pros

- sometimes there are parties & some of the coworkers you meet are genuine (even though everyone I've met is miserable and wants to leave) - could have potential to be a half decent staffing firm if management got their act together - you'll be working with cool clients

Cons

MOST OF THE REVIEWS ON THIS SITE ARE WRITTEN BY CONTRACTORS WHO HAVE BEEN PLACED BY RTA, NOT BY ACTUAL RUSSELL TOBIN EMPLOYEES I worked at RTA a little under a year in San Francsico and i wouldn't recommend it to anyone - people are promoted to management based off of popularity, not merit - SF office is very un friendly and un welcoming - culture discourages asking questions, you are not allowed to ask questions to your manager outside of the allotted 45 minute zoom meeting held a few times per week. if you ask them questions outside of this time you will be "bothering them" and need to save any question you have until then - as a whole they bite off more than they can chew, saying yes to clients who are demanding aggressive goals that are unrealistic, thus putting an insane amount of pressure on their employees - very little (if any) training - management creates a hostile work environment for any employee who isn't in their inner circle - genuinely would feel depressed on sunday night knowing that I had to go to work again on monday morning.

Pros

Managers didn't track PTO, so it was essentially unlimited.

Cons

The bonus structure is confusing and never truly explained. Many people in the same orientation would ask each other if they had any understanding of the bonus payout. The company is very unstructured, and use an ambiguous system to measure goals. Management encourages you to make friends within the company, but not for genuine relationships, but to move up in their belt system. There is no HR to bring issues to. Orientation only covers one side of the business, so if you are not working in that sector, you will spend 2 weeks going over something that you will never use. It was very clear that our trainers were burnt out. They seemed to pick favorites, and chastise others in different time zones. The Monday meeting is essentially a waste of time. It's mandatory, and your camera must be on. It is just an opportunity for the CEO to listen to their own voice. There is no culture for those who work from home. Job duties are not defined well, and you can easily end up finding things to fill your time. You have to use the company's ATS, which is an absolute disaster of a system.

Pros

Trying to think of 5 words to write…

Cons

Most toxic environment that I have ever seen or heard of. Managers do not know how to manage and share confidential information about their people. Commission is a joke, they change things on the fly. They promoted someone to senior director with a raise/bonus, only to fire them a month later due to “redundancy.” The worst part of it all is one of the senior leaders brags about firing people to other employees and thinks it’s funny.
