pay is great it has to be for what they have you doing

Pros

Its a laid back job. The pay is good. Long hours but lots of time off.

Its hard to move up in company. Its a long wait to get on day sift if working nights

Cons

The equipment is old as dinosaurs and it’s a revolving door of people. They run short handed and takes them forever to hire someone. If you like your holidays forget about it you’ll work those days while the corporate people gets every holiday off and yet those suits complain about production not being met. Improper training and the 12 hours are long and you’ll have to skip your lunch and breaks many nights. To many chiefs not enough indians The gain share is a joke with unattainable goals from our corporate management in production. I know the pockets are full in corporate when it comes to their bonuses.
