Pros

Rust-Oleum has trustworthy leadership at the highest levels. The individual contributor level associates are pleasant and willing to help. Corporate events are held regularly as a great perk.

Cons

Competitive pay for professionals is lacking. Intermediary leadership is dubious. Turnover is beginning to be a problem.

Company not up to its potential

Pros

Great parties, pension plan is a great bonus and an uncommon benefit. Free coffee , nice cafeteria and building.

Cons

Highly overworked with no work/ life balance. Upper management doesn’t care as long as they get they get their huge bonuses. Salaries are low compared to comparable positions. Company is owned by RPM International which adds another layer of upper management looking at the numbers only with no regard for the human element. People are leaving due to all of the above.
