Pros

+ Some really wonderful people work here. + Great Products, and there is so much potential for the company to grow. + You don't have to work overtime. + Summer Fridays, out by noon between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Cons

+ Horrible benefits: Six weeks max minimum maternity leave, and if you take maternity leave, your PTO gets taken away that year. Most employees get a maximum of 10 PTO days a year. If you ever need to take unpaid time off, you will not be allowed, and god forbid, your family goes through difficult times before your first 12 months of employment, you won't be allowed to take Short term unpaid leave. + Horrible Communication/ Lack of Clarity: It's like trying to hit a moving target—constant lack of clarity around projects. Managers regularly change requirements for deliverables after content delivery and after content has gone live. Different employees also often receiving different messages and guidelines on deliverables. When you ask for clarity you are met with passive-aggressive communication. + Toxic Blame Culture: It’s this generational hierarchy of bad bosses. Senior leaders and managers will approve content and later throw you under the bus in front of brand teams when something goes wrong. + Lack of Diversity: Most leaders are men. The majority of employees are white. + Favrotisim: If you want to succeed and grow at Rust-Oleum, don't focus on improving your skills, you're a favorite or your not!

Pros

Great Culture Good Compensation and benefits No work after hours Great Headquarters building Employees were great

Cons

No formal training program at all Gave no feedback Seems to discourage employees from working from home Did all training virtual which they had not done before Expectations not shared Received no positive feedback and had to ask when it was too late Use IBM notes and when questions were asked via IM, they were not saved and everything was wiped when you closed out of it, which does not help for training purposes. Needs to update to Outlook
