Pros

Sense of Responsibility for the quality turn out of products being made. Able to perform the job at your own pace focusing on safety over production numbers. A decent starting pay and opportunity for overtime. A sense that the company “actually cares” about you as an employee. 12 Hour shifts (pro or con)

Cons

Constant interaction with harmful chemicals and materials. A hot factory setting while needing to maintain fire safety to include long sleeves / pants year round
