not great for postdocs

Pros

The university has very high standards on research, good laboratories, libraries etc, departments are very strong, the groups are well connected with everyone you need to know in the world of academia. it's a good institution to have on your CV.

Cons

As a postdoc you are basically a ghost. You don't have access to any of the benefits offered to staff and faculty like access to the gym. Only access to the library, that's it.

Pros

-There are usually open positions every semester for graduate teaching assistants and/or interns -Opportunities are sent via email, easy to reach out and pursue -Must attend lectures, take notes, grading, and hold office hours

Cons

-Payment set up can be confusing at times, but the rate is pretty good for the time needed to put in for the position
